We are excited to introduce, the humble planner!

the humble planner is an unlabeled and undated monthly/weekly planner to help you create a flexible planning experience and build a planner routine that works best for your evolving life!

When designing this planner, it was important that I could customize my planner to my lifestyle and needs as a mom, wife, business owner, etc. I needed a place that I could organize the chaos from my brain, and allow me to prioritize my tasks and be more productive. At this stage in life, my planner is used to remind me of appointments and meetings, meal prep, plan out my weekly workouts, remind me of household tasks, manage my design projects, business social media accounts, and weekly activities, create to do lists, brainstorm ideas, prepare grocery lists, and prioritize important tasks.

This being said, I am extremely picky when it comes to my planners. The layouts need to be simple, but it also needs to be organized in a way that I can easily plan out all of the different areas of my life without becoming overwhelming. Most planner sections are labeled, which makes it hard to fill it out in a way that makes the most sense to my brain and lifestyle. I prefer my planners to be spiral bound, so that they can lay flat on my desk, so that I can easily see what is happening that week or month. The pages need to be thick quality paper, so that I can write without it bleeding through to the other side. I need my planner to be big enough to view on my desk, but small enough that I can throw it in a bag and go. Finding a planner that fits all of my needs, is next to impossible. I have purchased many planners in the past and just make them work the best I can. I have even customized a planner and paid $80 and was still not fully satisfied with it because I was still confined to the labels and sections that they provided. All of this to say, this is why “the humble planner” was created. It was designed to create a flexible planning experience to work with your ever evolving life and planning routine with all of the important qualities I look for in a planner.

Stay tuned for part 2 where we discuss the highlights and features of the humble planner!
